I started reading the Spy x Family manga before the anime came out and I really loved it. But it did not last long and I quickly gave up. However, some of my friends recommended the show and as I was going to Japan, I really wanted to get back into anime. I spend almost a year without watching an anime. I think Spy X Family is great when you want to get back into anime and don't know where to start. It really deserves the hype it is getting ! In Japan there is a movie in theatre at the moment.

What happens when you mix a spy, a hit woman and a mind-reader child into a fake family ? (also there is a dog halfway through season one !!!!)

The show is hilarious but it also deals with heavy and serious topics like cold war and wars in general, animal and child abuse ect...

I just need more of this family. I'm only at season 2 but I just cannot stop thinking about them. The characters are very loveable and there is some character development. You follow "Loid Forger", a spy who is given a new mission and needs a fake family. We meet Anya, a mind-reader child who is an orphan. Her relationship with Loid is so cute. Then arrives the "wife", Yor who is so funny (and STRONG). I highly recommend you to start this anime even if you are not into anime.
