I really think that Léonie and I are blessed. Every time we read a book together, it becomes a new favourite of mine. The Seven Year Slip by Ashley Poston is my first 5 stars read of the year.

I read The Dead Romantics by the same author last year and really enjoyed it. I saw a lot of booktubeur reading this book and saying it was the best they had read. Leonie also wanted to read it and we decided to do a Buddy Read.

You follow Clementine after the death of her aunt who bequeathed her flat to her. But the flat is magical : sometimes you go back 7 years into the past. This is where Clementine meets a man : Iwan. Her aunt always warned her : Never fall in love in this flat ! But Iwan is perfect, except.... why did he not try to contact her in the future ?

This book is so hard to describe and summarize, I tried my best and I hope I did not spoil you. Honestly the best is to go into the book with no idea ! 

We binge the book with Leonie because it is so easy to fall in love with the characters. They all have so much depth. We all want a man like Iwan honestly (he can COOK !!). I will definitely read more books by Ashley. I had already read : "The Princess and The Fangirl" & "Among the Beasts and Briars" but I think Ashley really thrives in Romance for adults !!
